The Michigan Nonprofit Association (MNA) seeks to further research in the nonprofit sector by providing a source for publishing and promoting relevent research. Below you can download the latest research publications from MNA. There are also helpful links to research from other organizations that is of interest to nonprofits.

Michigan Nonprofit Research Program (MNRP)
The Michigan Nonprofit Research Program supports research to improve our understanding of the Michigan nonprofit sector. The program offers opportunities to undertake research vital to the development of the sector in Michigan, and serves as a valuable convener and clearing house for the sector. The program encourages research that will inform and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Michigan nonprofits. The program is now starting its 2003 funding cycle, and announces the availability of grants to support research on philanthropy and the nonprofit sector in Michigan. MNRP is a partnership of Aspen Institute Nonprofit Sector Research Fund, the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership at Grand Valley State University, and the Michigan Nonprofit Association. MNA, through its public policy arm the Michigan Public Policy Initiative, serves as the dissemination arm of this partnership.

Research and Nonprofit (RaN) Committee
The purpose this group is to influence public policy by bridging the communication gap between nonprofits and researchers to develop viable research on the sector.
